Frequently Asked Questions

How is CCP different than my traditional pediatric practice?2020-01-31T09:49:58-06:00

Our approach. At CCP, you have 24/7/365 availability to Dr. Weems. In addition, CCP uses a team-based approach to your child’s health, incorporating medical specialists such as physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and many other specialties, as needed. Dr. Weems has an extensive network of specialists in Chicagoland as well as across the country, giving you access to the best possible care.

We see all children in their own home.  Not only is this more convenient for parents and more comfortable for children, but it allows Dr. Weems to evaluate and influence behavior, development, and routines in the most productive way.

Our size. We limit the size of our practice to ensure that Dr. Weems has more than enough time to invest in and address all of your questions related to your child’s care.

Does CCP accept insurance?2019-11-06T21:09:50-06:00

CCP does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider. We do not technically work with insurance companies, however, CCP can provide a superbill for submission to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Your child will still need insurance to have access to and reimbursement for certain services such as lab tests, x-rays, specialist visits, etc.
